Baston has accepted a new position as President of Cuyahoga Community College located in Cleveland, Ohio and will be stepping down from his position as RCC president in July 2022.

Last year, New York’s Rockland Community College realized it had a problem. The passing rate for gateway classes—those that all students need to take—wavered slightly and dropped by one point to 75 percent. But for Black men, the pass rate tumbled to 64 percent.
Nova North Commercial, a new commercial real estate firm based in New City, is announcing its launch with a name, slogan, logo and brand identity developed by marketing students at Rockland Community College.
Campus Technology – The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), Intel and Dell Technologies are launching an 18-month initiative that will design and build a network of Artificial Intelligence Incubators at community colleges across the United States. The project is an expansion of Intel’s AI for Workforce Program, an effort to prepare current and future workers with key job skills in AI.
